Hi. I'm Michele; Wife & Mum of four. My son Joshua was diagnosed with Autism at the age of six. Upon diagnosis we were given a list of achievements he would never reach and a prescription for anti-psychotic medication.

After much deliberation, we decided that we would not accept the limitations, nor the prescription. We chose to forge our own path in supporting our son over the last 12 years, and now, against all predictions, he is thriving. I'd love to support you and your family i helping your child to do the same.

I have a passion for seeing people thrive. However, I see many parents struggling when trying to raise a child with autism: social and friendship issues, school, bedtime, limited food options, sibling rivalry, marriage strain - the list goes on.

This is why I created Authentically Autism. I want parents like you to take back your God-given authority over your child & make the decisions that best suits your family. You don't have to follow the path that everyone else follows. You can decide what is right for your child. You can help your child become the wonderful, confident & happy person you know they are meant to be. 

I combine my 21 years of parenting, including 17 years raising a son with autism, with my professional experience and qualifications in the areas of mental health and youth work to help you be the best parent you can be to support your child. I know sometimes you can feel alone in making decisions, however, you no longer have to feel that way, I am here with you.
