USING NDIS FUNDING FOR AUTISM PARENT COACHING
|
What is the NDIS?NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
NDIS is a scheme that operates in a way that is different to the traditional way services are provided. Under the NDIS, the funds are given to the person who is in direct need of support, rather than the organisation who is providing it. This is wonderful as it allows you to choose the support you need and who you would like to provide you that support We offer services in several areas covered by NDIS funding. I you have funding, please be sure to dicuss this with us. If you do not have funding, but have a severe and persistent physical or psychosocial disability, or mental illness, you might be eligible for NDIS. Please visit the NDIS website for further details. (A psychosocial disability means that a person's mental health issue has had a significant and ongoing impact on your life, to the extent that it impairs your ability to do everyday things and participate in the community. Once your eligibility is confirmed, this funding is available to you, for your lifetime) |
